Distribution of Leptodiaptomus connexus in British Columbia in British Columbia

Introduction

Leptodiaptomus connexus is found in Alberta and Saskatchewan (Anderson, 1970), British Columbia, western USA, and Mexico (Reid & Williamson, 2010). It has been collected from southern British Columbia (Sandercock & Scudder, 1994).

This species is found in ponds and lakes (Wilson, 1959), with an apparent tolerance of high salinities and the severe conditions which occur in semi-permanent or temporary waters (Anderson, 1970).
